Our beautiful baby boy.
Born December 29th, 7lbs 14oz, at 5:10pm.
I knew the second I held him...
Diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth.

He hardly cried. Few words were said. The uncertainty of what this meant made my heart feel heavy.
I always wondered what my immediate response would be in such a case...
But, my love for him came from my heart, easily. His eyes were intensely beautiful to me, and I gently whispered in his little ear I was so very glad to be his Mom and I loved him very much.
